What Is The Difference Between Design and Development?
Our web design service deals strictly with just the graphical design of a site. A site with just static web pages falls under this category. A site becomes a development project when programming is involved for such things as Javascript, PHP, Blog's, Forums or using a database. Programming requires more time, thus the price you pay for a site will go up.

Already have a site? Already have a web host? Don't worry, we can still provide design services even if you have your own domain name or web host located with someone else. We can even maintain your site even if it is located with someone else.

What Is included In A Web Site Package?
Your web site can include html pages, javascript, backend scripts, graphics, animated gifs, audio, videos and Adobe Flash (SWF). We offer many other options for your site needs. At this time, TechniPixel only offers a few backend scripts. All web development options can be discussed before hand.

Domain Name Service

You Provide Your Own Domain Name (Recommended)
We recommend that you purchase your own domain name with a separate domain registrar. This way you control it. We will provide you with a DNS (Domain Name Server) address that will point to our web host if you host your site with us.

Purchase A Domain From Us
If you host your site with us, and if you would like us to handle your entire domain name process, we can do that! This yearly fee covers the domain, registration privacy control and maintenance.

Hosting With Us
Our Hosting Packages are tailored to your needs. We charge a yearly fee depending on your needs and how active the site will be with editing. Each package includes the following standard features (other features are optional);

• Unlimited Traffic
• Unlimited Editing of Existing Content
• Email
• Web Stats

Your Own Hosting Service (Pay only for development)
This option allows you to store your site on your very own web host. We do not provide this web hosting or charge you for it - you pay for it yourself directly. We can help you find a web host that you can use. This allows you to have a full-scale site with no limitations as well as save you money. This option would also involve you purchasing your own domain name.

We only charge you for the development of your site and or maintenance of your content. After we develop your web site, we would either need to send the files to you or you can provide us with an FTP account so your files can be uploaded.

Email Accounts
We provide email accounts with our hosting packages. However, you may choose to use an external 3rd party email address with your site if you choose to.

Inline Content Editing And CMS Options

Since we provide "Unlimited Editing of Existing Content" with our hosting packages, it is best to leave the editing up to us so that we can maintain the proper look to your site.

However, we do offer optional ways that you can edit your own content. Inline Content Editing is a method you would use to edit parts or all of your web pages right online! We have 3 options of editing methods available...

1) Basic Inline Content Editing: Is a our very own custom made backend that allows you to edit just parts of your site without editing other parts. We use simple html or flash editors which edits whole sections of web pages.

2) Full Inline Content Editing: Is a licensed solution we have to purchase for each domain. However, it provides more control over every little section of a page, not just whole sections like our Basic offering. It is more versatile with more user accounts and permissions. It does take a little bit of time to set them up.

3) Full CMS (Content Management System): Is a full fledged content management web site solution. You actually edit all pages, content and even create and manage pages and menu navigation. CMS's require a database (which we provide) and a lot more time to customize and maintain. This type of system is usually geared to sites that have lots of pages and changes frequently.

Unlimited Editing Of Existing Content

Our Hosting packages include "Unlimited Editing of Existing Content" which means that after the initial building of your site, any additional major changes to navigation, site layout or the addition of pages to an existing site that was not on the original build will incur a "web design" charge (per hour).

Web "Developer" Training Option

We provide web training to any individuals who wish to develop and maintain their own web site. We can teach the entire process of web development from buying your domain name to uploading files to a web server. This is an extra charge per hour.

Terms Of Service

To help speed up design time, it is recommended that you send us the text you desire as a text document (doc or txt). After completing the initial design, you will be required to proof read any text. Certain initial designs may contain a watermark depending on whether any payments have been made or not. The watermark will be removed on the final rendition.
